Our Story

The Seed Supplier was established in 2020, following the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, which exposed critical vulnerabilities in food security, market access, and urban dependence on external food supplies. During this period, food shortages in urban areas highlighted the urgent need for backyard gardening and local food production as a resilience strategy against external shocks.

As the pandemic evolved, the Seed Supplier recognized the disconnect between farmers and access to quality agricultural inputs. We implemented solutions to control the spread of the virus, ensuring continuity of food access through local production.

Our journey has involved expanding our product range, supporting farmers through training, distribution networks, and connecting rural producers to urban markets.

Today, The Seed Supplier remains rooted in principles of food security, sustainability, and inclusive growth, serving both rural farmers and urban consumers across value chains.
